TESTIMONIALS & COMMENTS

Comments about Middlebury Convalescent Home and Rehab. We love to hear the comments of our residents and their families. Their testimonials say a lot about the love and care they have received here.  It would be the same love and care that your loved ones can expect.

“My 91-year-old dad was hospitalized for over a month for major GI bleed and bowel resection. He lost significant weight, strength, and stamina. His artificial leg no longer fit so he was pretty much totally dependent. He struggled with tolerating food. The Covid virus was a constant threat.I can honestly say that there were times that I doubted that he could/would rebound. But with the expert and devoted care by all the staff-aides, nurses, OT, PT, Speech, Hanger Prosthetics who remade his leg, Recreation, housekeeping, dietary, and every single person we interacted with my dad regained his life back.  It took 3 months, but he has returned to His home. His life. He now is up walking independently with walker, using the bathroom independently, performing most all ADLs with little or no help. He’s enjoying living with his great grandkids, playing cards, going out for rides, dinner and is anxious to go fishing.  None of this would have been possible without your team working so well together, and our whole family is so very thankful to all of you.          Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.” The Daniel Z family.

“I was brought to Middlebury Convalescent on November 14, 2015. I thought I’d never feel better, but from the moment I arrived at MCH; every nurse, CNA and every other person I met were so kind and caring. They eased my fear, and I knew I was in the right place. Every therapist worked on getting my strength back. I was brought to MCH on a stretcher, frightened and unsure of my future. I left MCH on December 2 – walking and while I cried because I knew I would miss everyone; I was not so frightened, and I know I have a future. I can’t thank you all enough. Everyone at MCH are truly talented and gifted people.”

“Words cannot express how much we appreciate the support and professionalism that we found at Middlebury Convalescent. We had to make some very difficult decisions very quickly during an emotional time and without much information. Your help and guidance truly made a difference. Middlebury Convalescent is one of the best decisions that we made in caring for my sister. Your entire staff has been kind and considerate of both her and our needs.”

“It is with pleasure that I would like to share with you my experience at the Middlebury Convalescent Home. From the time I entered in June 2019 until the day I left in September 2019, I received excellent care and was treated with kindness and compassion by everyone employed at MCH. All employees were understanding and helpful in caring for my needs. The grounds were kept in pristine condition and adorned with pretty flowers and bird feeders. Due to the upbeat and cheerful atmosphere of the staff, it made my stay oftentimes fun and definitely comfortable. Thanks to all for your kindness and professionalism in helping me on my road to recovery. It was greatly appreciated.”
